How it works: Give your child an index card or print a small “card.” Write Weekly Limit: 100 points (or any number that fits your family). Every purchase “costs” points—10 points for a snack, 25 for a small toy, 40 for a trip to the trampoline park, etc. When the balance hits zero, the “card” won’t work until next week. Add a tiny ledger on the back (Date / Item / −Points / Balance) so kids practice recording transactions.
